Administration Fees

BECS is a not-for-profit organisation and deductions on collections are made to cover our overheads and administration costs.  BECS currently only collects Performers’ Rights payments. A maximum of 10% will be deducted from gross amounts of distributable monies to cover BECS administration costs.  This was authorised by our members during our 2016 AGM. To read the full policy on deductions, please follow this link: Policy on Deductions

🎄The BECS Offices will be closed from December 24th and will open again on January 2nd 2026. 🎄

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all at BECS!

‼️Protecting Your Rights in the age of AI & Opt-Out Information ‼️

At the recent BECS AGM, members voted to amend the constitution regarding AI rights. If you are happy with the amendments, no action is required.

An email has been sent to all members with the full details.

Last week, Tayyiba was in Geneva at the WIPO Standing Committee on Copyright and Related Rights as part of her role as the President of GAVA

Tayyiba said "it was a privilege to represent AV performers and contribute to vital discussions on their rights and protections"
