The Chairman and the Board of Directors invite you to the 2024 BECS Annual General Meeting on 3rd December at 1.00pm

I am delighted to invite you to this year’s BECS AGM. 2024 has been another busy year for us, culminating in a significant Actors’ Earnings Report on the importance of enhancing performers’ rights and earnings. Please do join us.

This is a great annual opportunity for you to learn what your society has worked on in the past year and to guide future activities that we do on your behalf. There are crucial issues that concern all audio-visual artists, and your support will be required to help BECS improve the situation the acting community as a whole is facing.

Afterwards, join us in a Christmas and New Year toast to our continuing mission to improve your statutory rights and remuneration.

Last week, Tayyiba was in Geneva at the WIPO Standing Committee on Copyright and Related Rights as part of her role as the President of GAVA

Tayyiba said "it was a privilege to represent AV performers and contribute to vital discussions on their rights and protections"
