I am delighted to invite you to this year’s BECS AGM. Last year’s venue proved such a success we will be once again at the Curzon Bloomsbury Cinema!
The BECS Board and staff are excited at the prospect of meeting you all and bringing you up to speed on the crucial SMART Fund Campaign, the Beijing Audio-Visual Treaty and our continuing fight, despite Brexit, to reap ongoing reward for the continued use of your work.
Do join us afterwards for light refreshments and maybe, with Christmas and New Year round the corner, raise a toast to BECS’ mission in the year ahead to do all we can to improve members’ statutory rights.

Last week, Tayyiba was in Geneva at the WIPO Standing Committee on Copyright and Related Rights as part of her role as the President of GAVA
Tayyiba said "it was a privilege to represent AV performers and contribute to vital discussions on their rights and protections"
